Hiranandani Group Launches First Hyper-Scale Data Sharing Centre – Yotta

Digital India, the dream mission envisioned by Mr. Narendra Modi for digitizing India and bringing in more business for economic growth. This mission needs time for growth not only from the government itself but also from the people who can contribute to it in every possible way. In this segment, the ‘Real Estate Magnate’ Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani in collaboration with ‘Data Centre Man of India’ Sunil Gupta is working towards the progress of the country.

In the words of Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani and Darshan Hiranandani, the data center park is completely a challenging project. The main target is to make India the largest player in the data center space. The exceptional infrastructure and capacity to resizing the space will suitably align with the vision of digital India. Mr. Gupta’s rich experience and insight in the field of building hyper-scale hyperdensity data centers will drive the project Yotta to a new level. And his role as a managing partner and CEO will give a new foresight to Yotta infrastructure.

The increased use of information technology is expanding the need to store the data safely. In the current situation, we are still short of a few data centers to match the growing business association – domestic or international. Hence, Yotta is established to accommodate the new business organization whether IT or commercial for the growth of the country. In the approved layout the design includes 5 buildings in an area of 50 acres with 30,000 racks having 210 MW power following 4 fiber paths. The Connectivity Services includes bulk internet uplinks and SD Wan services along with structured cables. And the first park is programmed to start working by the end of December 2019 at Hiranandani Fortune City township in Panvel.

Under the Yotta scheme, the services offered are unlimited scalability of Collocation space and power through the Data Centre parks to OTT players like  Google, Alibaba, Netflix, Facebook, Apple, etc. for their cloud availability zones/clusters. Mr. Gupta adds, that it is for sure that they will experience better management of their operations cost-effectively with us. Along with this, the plan is to launch a hybrid multi-cloud managed IT, security and connectivity services to cater to the needs of banks, retail, media, and manufacturing industries in India as well.

Being a responsible citizen and a social activist, Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani wants to concoct the complete project without harming nature. Believing in ‘Green is Clean’ the whole infrastructure will be run on clean solar energy with a solar plant built along with these buildings. Thus, Yotta would be a successful venture providing economical and nature-friendly data storage framework to its users and the country.

In this context, Dr. Hiranandani, Founder & Managing Director, Hiranandani Group states that it is a proud moment to serve the country. Backing India to attain a reputed place on the international platform is a challenging task. The growth of data storage business domestically will cause a tremendous transformation to the Indian Economy. Darshan Hiranandani says, at Yotta, the facility to get the cheapest data storage per GB in the world will be offered.
