On the grounds of safety, security and sanitized environment owning your own house has become imperative. Demand for residential segment has seen a surge in demand for the quarter ending in September as an outcome of positive measures like historic low interest rates , reduced stamp duty and lower risk weightage on the new loans. The property market in metro cities and satellite towns continues to see a gradual increase in home buying quantum. The residential real estate has also garnered interest from NRI communities who intend to invest back in Indian real estate amidst other volatile assets or buying a safe nest back home for end use. Overall the situation looks grim with pandemic disruptive shadow casted on the overall economic situation. Thus, Indian real estate is bound to grow exponentially by next financial year.
