At Hiranandani Townships, special emphasis is laid on developing the flora and fauna within through afforestation and development of lush green spaces. Through proper planning and implementation, the in-house horticulture department ensures that only indigenous plants, that are those native to a particular region, are grown. The reason being, indigenous species of trees and shrubs invite migratory birds to make their own little space on them, thus helping to preserve and maintain the biodiversity of the area.

Hiranandani Group not only undertakes construction of eco-friendly projects but also follows eco-friendly practices. For the upkeep of the greenery, only organic manure and compost is used in place of chemical pesticides and fertilizers. The credit for this goes to the in-house compost plant, where kitchen waste is turned into compost, recycled STP water is used for gardening.

All the hard work and creativity in terms of horticulture management has paid off. In the past few months, the Hiranandani Group has received accolades on the landscapes, the beautified traffic junctions as also gardens within the townships. Prominent among the prizes won in different categories include 01. Adonia, Powai: Vertical Garden; 02: Central Avenue, Powai: Best avenue of Alstonea Scholaris; 03: Hiranandani Knowledge Park, Powai:  Garden attached to commercial institute up to 3000 sq mt in sized; 04: Somerset, Powai: Garden attached to co-op housing society, more than 500 sq mt in size; 05: G-4 Hill Garden, Powai: Public garden more than 10000 sq mts; and 06: Rodas Podium Garden, Thane.
